GraphicsMagick is the swiss army knife of image processing.

GraphicsMagick may be used to resize, rotate, sharpen, color reduce, or add special effects to an image and save the result in the same or different image format. Image processing operations are available from the command line, as well as through C, C++, Lua, Perl, PHP, Python, Tcl, Ruby, Windows .NET, or Windows COM programming interfaces.

General purpose graphics converter. Can convert PDF pages to images. Resizes images, makes them transparent and includes a number of other functions.

Mostly command line, but there are some X11 GUI tools included.

NetRider

You can also convert web pages to graphics with it. WKCCC includes a command line version of JavaScript that can be used for cross-platform scripting or other purposes.

OpenSCAD

OpenSCAD provides two main modelling techniques. It offers constructive solid geometry (aka CSG) and extrusion of 2D outlines. It can read DXF, STL and OFF files.
