Wings 3D is an advance modeler that is both powerful and easy to use. I chose this application because of my interest with Blender, another open source software application for 3D modeling. I was wondering if there was another application available and easier than Blender. The answer was yes. With 4,817 downloads this week alone this application caught my eye. When I opened the application it had a similar look to Blender. The application windows are movable and can be placed anywhere on the canvas. Cameras can be mover in the middle of your operation. Another important function is the aim function. Hot keys are easily found on the Help menu. Although this program is modeling only, I found it useful and a great way to teach students modeling before teaching animation.
