Draw maps of starcharts in Postscript, PNG and text formats.Software Details
Create starcharts. Given right ascension and declination or the name of a constellation, the software will draw a starchart with stars, planets, nebulae, galaxies, clusters and other objects listed. One can also view the right ascension, declination and distance of the planets and sun.
These programs works via the command line. There is a GTK+ 1 front end called GStar available.
Works on Windows with some patches.
Note: This software is distributed with a GNU GPL 2.0 license. However, the source code stipulates for non-profit use only.
