Ads be gone!!
Average: 5 (1 vote)

I am awarding Adblock Plus 5 stars out of 5 because it makes browsing the Internet safer and more efficient for both students and teachers. It is a add on for supported browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Opera, etc.) that removes advertisements with potentially harmful links from websites.

Online advertisements can be misleading and quite bothersome when trying to get work done. In a classroom setting, Adblock Plus is particularly helpful in preventing students from accidentally clicking a link that will take them outside of the intended website. As a teacher of very young students who are beginners at navigating the internet, advertisements are a huge distraction and cause added confusion. If students accidentally click on advertisements that take them to other websites , directing them back to where they should be wastes precious instructional time. Adblock Plus eliminates all of these hassles to maximize teaching time and gives students a more pleasant learning experience while on the internet.

Installing Adblock Plus was quick and easy. There were minimal steps to install the software and few options that needed to be adjusted to get it running. After installing, Adblock plus ran as expected.
